Eternal Blossom

When I created this self-portrait, it was springtime, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Their lives are fleeting yet dazzlingly beautiful—radiant but short-lived, symbolizing hope and renewal. This symbolism deeply moved me: even if life is brief, it can still shine with the brightest brilliance. Through painting, I wanted to capture that ephemeral moment of bloom. Though the blossoms may wither overnight, on the canvas they can flourish forever.
