The Cocoon is a three-layered architectural installation designed as an urban sanctuary for rest and reflection. Two curved steel lines wrap around the structure, casting shifting shadows that align into a heart once each day—symbolizing connection and care. Within, overlapping glass domes filter natural light, while a semi-hollow circular core allows sunlight to pass directly through, creating a quiet interplay of glow and shadow. At the top, climbable mushroom-like forms emit soft natural sounds—rain, birdsong, waterfalls—when touched, and gently illuminate at night.
Blending sensory interaction with organic form, The Cocoon invites visitors to slow down, breathe, and rediscover harmony between the self, nature, and the urban rhythm surrounding them.
